Dunajec

The Dunajec was born in Nowy Targ by the confluence of two beautiful rivers in the Tatra mountains : the White Dunajec and  the black Dunajec. The white Dunajec  has got fish species  like brown trout, grayling and rainbow trouts. The black Dunajec has got brown trouts, rainbow trouts, graylings. Both rivers have  special  no-kill reaches. The Dunajec is 274km long from the confluence to the Vistula mouth , which then, in turn, enters the Baltic Sea. The no- kill reserve is located in the upper part of the   National  Park of mountains Pieniny,  it is  11 km long ad  the river is from 50 to 80-90 meter wide. It is really a paradise for all the techniques of fly fishing, brown trout, grayling, lake trout, rainbow trout, and  first of all the Danube salmon (Huco Huco ). The Duajec , according to us,  is the river that can give you " the capture of life". The best recommeded period is from  April to November.
